Shipping & Returns Policy

This Shipping & Returns Policy explains how Iron Aminos LLC ("Iron Aminos", "we", "us", or "our") handles order processing, shipment, delivery issues, and returns. This Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions. By placing an order through ironaminos.com (the "Website"), you agree to this Policy.

1. Order processing

  • Orders are typically processed during normal business days (excluding weekends and U.S. federal holidays).
  • Weekday cutoff: Orders placed on weekdays before 3:30 PM EST are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 3:30 PM EST are typically processed the next business day.
  • Saturday cutoff: Orders placed on Saturday before 10:00 AM EST are typically processed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after 10:00 AM EST on Saturday and all day Sunday will be processed and shipped on Monday (or the next business day if Monday is a holiday).
  • Processing time may vary based on order volume, product availability, internal verification, and compliance reviews.
  • Incomplete, inconsistent, or potentially non-compliant information may delay or prevent processing while we request clarification or decline the order.
  • 2nd Day Air Upgrade priority: If you select 2nd Day Air or 2nd Day Air Upgrade, your order will take priority and is typically processed first.

2. Shipping methods & delivery

At checkout, you will be presented with Standard (Ground) or 2nd Day Air. Shipping options, estimated timeframes, and costs are displayed at checkout based on your shipping address.

  • Standard (Ground): Shipped via USPS Ground or UPS Ground (carrier chosen based on destination and best available speed).
  • 2nd Day Air: Shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air. In some cases, we may use an equivalent expedited service if it is faster for your destination.
  • 2nd Day Air Upgrade: If your order qualifies for Free Ground Shipping, you may choose a 2nd Day Air Upgrade at checkout for an additional fee.
  • Florida shipments: All Florida customers will receive UPS Ground even if you select 2nd Day Air or 2nd Day Air Upgrade, because it is typically the fastest option for Florida addresses (often next business day).
  • Any delivery dates provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • Once an order has been handed over to the carrier, transit times and updates are outside of our direct control.

3. Free shipping over $200

  • Orders over $200 receive Free Ground Shipping.
  • If your order qualifies for Free Ground Shipping, you may still choose a 2nd Day Air Upgrade at checkout for an additional fee.

4. Shipping locations & restrictions

Iron Aminos may limit shipping destinations based on internal policies, carrier restrictions, or applicable law.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where shipment would be unlawful, high-risk, or incompatible with our research-use-only policy.
  • Some products may be restricted to specific jurisdictions or entities. It is your responsibility to ensure that ordering, possessing, and using our products is lawful in your location.

5. Address accuracy & undeliverable packages

  • You are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at the time of purchase.
  • We are not responsible for delays, losses, or misdeliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
  • If a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable or refused for reasons not caused by Iron Aminos, we may, at our discretion:
    • Reship the order after collection of additional shipping fees; or
    • Treat the order as abandoned. Certain products cannot be restocked or reused, and in such cases a refund may not be available.

6. Risk of loss & title

Title and risk of loss to products pass to you when we deliver the shipment to the carrier. Once in carrier custody, loss, theft, or damage in transit is generally the responsibility of the carrier and/or the recipient, subject to any carrier policies.

If your package appears lost or significantly delayed, please contact both the carrier and Iron Aminos support. We will assist where reasonably possible, but cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement for events outside our control.

7. Inspection upon delivery

You are responsible for promptly inspecting all deliveries upon receipt.

  • If you receive an incorrect item, missing item, or product that appears damaged in transit, you must notify us in writing within 3 business days of the recorded delivery date.
  • Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the packaging and product.

8. Return & replacement policy

Due to the nature of our products (research-use-only materials and related items), all sales are generally final once an order has shipped. We cannot accept returns of opened, used, or improperly stored products.

8.1 Eligible issues

Subject to the conditions below, we may offer a resolution in the following cases:

  • Wrong item received compared to the order confirmation.
  • Products damaged in transit upon arrival.
  • Obvious packaging compromise or tamper evidence upon delivery.

8.2 How to request a review

To request review of a shipment issue:

  • Email support@ironaminos.com within 3 business days of delivery.
  • Provide your order number, description of the problem, and clear photos of the outer box, shipping label, inner packaging, and affected products.

After reviewing the information, we may, at our sole discretion:

  • Offer a replacement of the affected item(s);
  • Issue store credit; or
  • Determine that no adjustment can be made (for example, when evidence is insufficient, time limits have expired, or misuse or improper storage is suspected).

8.3 Non-returnable items

For safety, quality control, and regulatory reasons, we do not accept returns of:

  • Opened containers, vials, or packaging.
  • Products that have been used, handled improperly, or stored outside recommended conditions.
  • Any items past their indicated best-use date or reasonable shelf life.
  • Products sold as clearance, final sale, or otherwise marked non-returnable.

9. Order cancellation

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible to support@ironaminos.com.
  • If the order has not yet entered processing or shipment, we may be able to cancel it.
  • Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled, recalled, or refunded except as provided in this Policy.

10. International shipping

We do not offer international shipping at this time.

11. Misuse, non-compliance & refused service

Iron Aminos reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders, restrict shipping, or close accounts where we reasonably suspect:

  • Misrepresentation of identity or qualifications;
  • Attempted use of products for human or veterinary consumption;
  • Violation of applicable laws or regulations; or
  • Abusive, fraudulent, or high-risk behavior.

12. Policy updates

We may update this Shipping & Returns Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Website or placement of orders after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
